Academics Begin Early
Even at 18 months, our toddlers are introduced to subject-based learning through engaging lessons in early math, literacy, science, art, and Bible. We go beyond shapes and numbers to introduce art elements, number theory, and foundational reading skills—all delivered in joyful, age-appropriate ways.
Learning is multi-sensory, guided by trained teachers using tactile materials and movement-based learning to build strong brain connections and motor development.

The Toddler School at The DaySchool for Children
Where Wonder Begins and Purpose is Planted
At The DaySchool for Children, we believe toddlers are more than capable—they are curious, creative, and full of God-given potential. Our Toddler School serves children ages 18 months to 3 years with a rich, structured private school experience that lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and spiritual growth.
This is not daycare—it’s a dynamic, nurturing environment where toddlers are immersed in early academics, hands-on discovery, social-emotional learning, and biblical principles from the very start.
Whole-Child Growth Begins Early
At The DaySchool for Children, we believe that true education begins by nurturing the whole child—spirit, heart, and mind. Our Toddler School is thoughtfully designed to guide little ones through their earliest milestones with intentionality, love, and purpose. From learning to pray to practicing manners and gaining independence, every moment is an opportunity to shape not just a student, but a future leader.
From their earliest days in our care, toddlers are introduced to the love of God through faith-filled lessons, songs, and daily rhythms. Scripture, prayer, and praise are gently woven into their routines, planting seeds of spiritual awareness and trust in God’s presence.
Toddlers are guided through age-appropriate social and emotional learning that helps them understand their feelings, relate to others, and navigate new experiences with kindness and confidence. Sharing, empathy, and patience are modeled and practiced every day.
Manners matter—and so does self-respect. Our little ones are lovingly taught basic etiquette, greetings, table manners, and classroom routines that shape lifelong habits of respect, dignity, and responsibility. These early lessons build a quiet strength and confidence in every child.
We support parents through the important milestone of potty training, treating it as a natural part of growing up and learning independence. Our caring team works with each child’s developmental pace, celebrating every step forward with encouragement and grace.

Toddler School FAQ's
Do you offer a half-day program?
We do not. Our Toddler students experience a full-day beginning at 8:30 AM. Their day ends at 3 PM and pick-up is from 3 PM to 5:30 PM with no charge. Before-care is from 7 AM to 7:30 AM. After-care is from 5:30 PM to 6 PM.
Are children grouped by age?
Just like our Main School, children are placed in their pods by their academic and social abilities. Our Toddler School is a competency-based program that allows the child to navigate based on their own pace. Please note that while a child's academic ability is very important, we also monitor the child's social abilities so that they are not placed in a pod that would be an incorrect fit.
Do you offer potty training?
Yes, we do. Our Toddler students are potty trained starting with the toddler potty and then transitioning to the adult toilet. They must show mastery of using the adult bathroom before transitioning into the Main School.
Do toddlers have to wear uniforms as well? Do you provide breakfast or lunch?
Yes, they do. Our uniform partner begins at size 2T for our Toddlers. For Toddlers who are smaller than 2T, we do provide a solution for them to maintain the required dress code.
We do not provide any food. All of our parents pack their child's snacks and lunch. Toddlers eat often throughout the day, so our parents pack what they know their child will eat. Any breakfast packed must be already made and ready to eat by the Toddler.
What is your student-teacher ratio?
We have a current ratio of 8 students for every 1 teacher.
