PLEASE NOTE THAT TODDLER SUMMER SCHOOL IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

At The DaySchool for Children, we are excited to offer our Toddler Summer Academy: Shine Bright! This 8-week journey is designed specifically for our youngest students to discover how Jesus is the Light of the World and how they can shine for Him. Our program is a structured school experience that keeps little minds engaged through a mix of academics, faith-based discovery, and summer fun—including our fan-favorite Friday Water Play Days!

Program Dates & Sessions

Registration is $175 and covers all summer expenses, materials, and a free summer camp backpack! Our summer is divided into three focused sessions.

Session 1: The Light of Creation: June 15 – June 26 | $350 (Closed June 19th for Juneteenth) Focus: God made the sun, moon, and stars. We learn that all light comes from Him!
Session 2: Jesus, Our Shining Star: June 29 – July 24 | $680 (Closed July 3rd for Independence Day) Focus: From the Star of Bethlehem to Jesus calming the stormy seas, we learn that Jesus is the light that guides us.
Session 3: Let Your Light Shine: July 27 – August 7 | $350 Focus: How we can be kind and "Shine Bright" for our friends and family.

Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

(Aftercare available: 5:30 – 6:00 PM, $45 per session) Note: Toddler Building opens at 8:00 AM. Drop-off before 8:00 AM is at the Main Building.

4. Specialized Toddler Workshops (Included!)

Engineering: Building Lighthouses Toddlers explore construction by building tall towers and lighthouses, learning how light helps people find their way.
Music & Movement: Glow & Praise Using instruments and "glow-in-the-dark" movement activities, children learn to use music for worship.
Little Artist: Painting with Light Exploring bright colors, sun-catchers, and Impressionist-style sunrises to celebrate God’s beautiful world.
Nature & Flower: Sunflowers & Sunshine Toddlers discover how plants need light to grow, providing hands-on gardening and sensory experiences.

8:30 AM: Morning Chapel & "Shine" Worship
9:00 AM: Academics & Discovery
10:30 AM: Snack Time
11:45 AM: Arts & Crafts/Play Time
11:30 AM: Lunch
1:00 PM: Nap Time
3:00 PM: Parent Pick-Up Begins / Free Play
5:00 PM: Toddler Building Closes - Transition to Main Building
Friday Special: Water Play Day (Morning)

Supplies & Dress Code

Dress Code: Comfortable tops/bottoms. Sneakers or Closed-Toe Shoes ONLY (No sandals/crocs for safety).
Water Play Fridays: Please send your child in their swimsuit under their clothes, a towel, and a change of clothes.
Food: Pack a lunch and two snacks daily. Ensure containers are microwave-safe.
Essentials: Backpack, Sleeping Bag/Cot Sheets, Water Bottle, and Potty Training supplies (labeled).

Payment & Registration

Registration Fee: Before June 7th: $175
How to Pay: Online via our Summer Registration Portal
Billing: Session payments will be applied to your Brightwheel account the Friday before session starts.
Billing Policy: Unpaid registrations and sessions will not be permitted to start (no exceptions)
